ALOO TIKKI FRANKIE

INGREDIENTS:

  • Cumin powder
  • Red chili powder
  • Chat masala
  • Coriander leaves
  • 2 Carrots
  • 2 Onions
  • 2 Big sized potatoes
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Whole wheat flour
  • Water

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1.  Take required amount of wheat flour ,oil and salt. Add required amount of water to make it a smooth dough.
  2. Cover the dough and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Boil the potatoes and smash them.
  4. In a pan add some oil add onions , grated carrots, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, chat masala and saute .
  5. Give it a stir and add the boiled potatoes and the coriander leaves.
  6. Divide the mixture into small patties in a frying pan.
  7. When one side of the tikki becomes golden brown turn over and fry the other side.
  8. Drain the aloo tikkis on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
  9. Now take the dough and roll to a thin chapathi.
  10. Place the roti on the tava and keeps flipping until it becomes brown.
  11. Apply some butter on the roti place aloo tikkis inside the roti.
  12. Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve hot.
