ALOO TIKKI FRANKIE
INGREDIENTS:
- Cumin powder
- Red chili powder
- Chat masala
- Coriander leaves
- 2 Carrots
- 2 Onions
- 2 Big sized potatoes
- Oil
- Salt
- Whole wheat flour
- Water
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Take required amount of wheat flour ,oil and salt. Add required amount of water to make it a smooth dough.
- Cover the dough and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
- Boil the potatoes and smash them.
- In a pan add some oil add onions , grated carrots, salt, cumin powder, chilli powder, chat masala and saute .
- Give it a stir and add the boiled potatoes and the coriander leaves.
- Divide the mixture into small patties in a frying pan.
- When one side of the tikki becomes golden brown turn over and fry the other side.
- Drain the aloo tikkis on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
- Now take the dough and roll to a thin chapathi.
- Place the roti on the tava and keeps flipping until it becomes brown.
- Apply some butter on the roti place aloo tikkis inside the roti.
- Garnish with some coriander leaves and serve hot.
